Welcome to the Photo Gallery.

Gallery One - Here you will find thumbnail samples of most of my photos used on this web site, plus many more. Photos in this section were taken with a Pentax 35mm SLR on Kodak or Agfa slide film in 1972 or 1973. Keep in mind that this set if images was not taken for commercial use. They were only my way to bring the beauty of the Outer Banks home with me to paint and draw from. ( For more recent digital photos, visit OuterBanksGuidebook.com. )

These thumbnails link to larger images (approx. 400x265 at 72dpi) which are heavily compressed .jpg files. The master images are .bmp files (approx. 3000x2000 at 2400dpi), which are available for a standard fee of $25.00 US each. This fee may be waived or reduced for public education or certain non-profit uses. If you have any reservations whether these files will be suitable for your application, a randomly cropped full quality (.bmp, .tif, etc.) sample from any image can be sent via email attachment for your examination. Complete directions for requesting these images and permissions to use them can be found at the bottom of the page.

Requesting Files and Permissions -

Each thumbnail has a file identifier of "SC_xxx" where "xxx" is a 3-digit number. You must use this file identifier when requesting images and permissions to avoid any confusion as to which image(s) you are interested in. Please use this email form to make your request, or you can email to . Include any information you feel pertinent to the request. Be SURE your email address is entered correctly. Inquiries will be answered promptly. If you do not receive a response within 24 hours, it's very likely my reply was returned undeliverable due to a typo in your email address. If you use the email form and do not get a prompt reply, please inquire again and double check your email address on the form.
